Sunday Worship

We meet to worship at 10.45am. Tea and coffee are served after the service, providing an opportunity to chat and get to know each other.

The whole church family stays together in church during worship each week for about 20 minutes. There is then the opportunity for children to go to their own groups in crèche or Sunday Club. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to help them settle into the groups. You are also welcome to keep your children with you in church throughout the service and there is a carpeted area with books and toys.

All age worship is on the second Sunday of each month, giving all the church family an opportunity to worship together for the whole service. We aim to make these services lively, fun and interactive.  During term times these are also Parade Services with Uniformed groups: Boys Brigade, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows taking part.

The evening service at 6.30pm is generally a more traditional preaching service which is often as well attended as the morning.

Every few months we have a more informal service, Cafe style, and chat about the theme around tables with coffee and cakes.

Twice a month (once in morning and once in evening) we will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion in our service.

We have no barriers at our communion table- all ages who wish to celebrate their faith in Jesus are welcome to share in the bread and the wine, whether they are members of the Methodist Church or not.

We regularly offer opportunity for prayers for healing and wholeness.
